I wrote this for Chuck when I made his Web Site book last July before coming
to San Miguel de Allende. Tears streamed from his eyes as he read it...oh, God, how I loved and cherished him and I
miss him so much!
What I Love About You, Chuck Domanico!
I love your smile
I love your laugh
I love your silly jokes
I love your music
I love your stories
I love your passion for life
I love your sense of humor
I love your vulnerability
I love your generosity
I love your compassion
I love how much you love your wife
I love how much you love your friends
I love how much you love your family
I love how much you love me
I love that you give credit due
I love how you cherish life
But most of all, Chuck, I LOVE YOU!

Jussta-
I would love to have this piece included in the Friends' Thoughts and
Feelings page. And thank you, Jussta, for doing this work for Chuck's family.
I've known Chuck for 3 decades. Musically, it is well known, and widely agreed,
that he was a warm, strong force, a unique musical voice, of the highest excellence. We lose that when we lose Chuck.
But he was a warm, strong, voice personally as well. He had opinions about past and current trends, and opinions
about individuals and their motivations, throughout his career... negative when justified, and wholeheartedly positive when
justified... and Chuck was always willing to say what he thought and felt, right out loud, for everyone to hear. This
made him a leader, a reminder to us all to pay attention, and to protect what we love. He was a mentor to us all.
We all lose now that Chuck has passed.
Personally, I miss his smile, his warm hello, his joy. I miss you, Chuck.
